Jonathan G. Lewis is an associate attorney at Hinders, Updegraff & Franklin, P.L.C., practicing primarily in employment and municipal law. He assists employers and public entities with day‑to‑day HR and workplace issues, as well as municipal governance and compliance questions.​

Jonathan joined the firm’s Des Moines‑area office in 2026 and earned his J.D. from Drake University Law School in 2024. Before law school, he completed a master’s degree in education and teaching and an undergraduate degree in history and political science, experience that informs his work with public‑sector and education‑adjacent clients.​
